Acne can pop up anywhere on the skin but are most commonly found on the areas of the face that have been in contact with the hands or the hair, which control higher levels of oil and bacteria. For this reason, the forehead tends to have more acne breakouts than other areas of the face. To get rid of forehead acne and to keep the area clear, it is important to follow a routine that cleanses the skin gently, medicates the skin aright and moisturizes the skin right. Rinse the forehead w/ a soap designed for sensitive skin types. Wet the skin well w/ water and lather the hands w/ a sensitive skin soap. Use the lather to the skin, spreading it around softly and then rinse off the lather with water. The face should never be scrubbed or scratched when it is cleansed, w/c can aggravate acne. A soap developed for sensitive skin will clean the skin w/out bad it with the harsh chemicals learned in many standard soaps. Clean the skin twice per day with a sensitive skin soap.Medicate the skin around the forehead with a 2.5 percent concentration benzoyl peroxide cream. Spread an amount of cream roughly the size of a large pea onto the forehead after cleansing. Slide the fingers around the face until it has been absorbed into the skin. Benzoyl peroxide creams that are too high in absorption can cause the skin to peel, burn and to become red. Using a 2.5 percent benzoyl peroxide cream will clear acne on the forehead w/out irritating or heating the skin. Use the 2.5 percent benzoyl peroxide on the skin twice per day after cleansing.Moisturize the skin around the forehead applying an oil-free moisturizer designed for sensitive skin types.
