How to Get Rid of Acne Around Nose

If you have mild to moderate acne around your nose, starting a skin care procedure can reject blemishes and keep breakouts. Use a gentle cleanser to wash your face each morning and evening before bed. Sebum can build up on your face while you're asleep, w/c is why your face can look oily at first in the morning. Use an oil-free, fragrance-free cleanser. Because the glands on your can nose loose more sebum than other areas on the face, and you'll need to wash your nose area more often.Use an astringent with alcohol once a day. An astringent will remove oil buildup, dirt and bacteria from your pores.Use a topical treatment containing benzoyl peroxide, after using the astringent. The Mayo Clinic notes that benzoyl peroxide is one of the best acne-fighting medications available over the counter. Benzoyl peroxide medications are open in concentrations ranging from 2.5 to 10 percent. Start w/ the lowest dose and apply twice daily. Increase the concentration or the amount of applications gradually until you find a combination that works for you.Exfoliate your skin 2 to 3 times per week. The abrasive ingredients in exfoliators can help to clean pores, but can also dry and irritate your skin if done too often.Tips and Warnings
You should start seeing results about two weeks after beginning this routine for the first time. If the acne around your nose is chronic, continue to apply benzoyl peroxide everyday as a good measure. All of the products mentioned in this article are available over the counter at most pharmacies and supermarkets.Dry acne may need to be treated w/ a prescription medication like Retin-A, antibiotics or an oral contraceptive.
